The comorbid nature refers to the common phenomenon where multiple distinct health conditions, diseases, or disorders occur simultaneously in one person, often influencing each other or sharing underlying causes, making them more than just separate illnesses but interconnected issues requiring integrated care. It highlights that these conditions appear together more often than by chance, impacting the primary illness and overall health outcomes. (e.g. ADHD and ASD, or MS and Dystonia co-occurring)
